I'm home. I'll explain why in a minute.

Yesterday morning it stopped snowing. There went my idea of staying in bed, eating a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup whilst watching President Bush's inauguration [thank God he won]. Instead, I had the roommate record it for me so I could watch it when I got home from work. I went to work, miserable, having to hear the liberal across from me tout, 'Can you believe they're spending 40 million dollars?'

"Yes, yes I can."

Silence.

After work I did some shopping, girls, they are having major sales out there. I got great deals on several pairs of pants from one of my favorites shops, and blouses from another. I won't have to shop again 'til summer. Anyway, when I arrived back at the apartment I felt a strange sensation come over me. My left eyeball started to feel heavy, and then the strong stabbing pain began. I thought maybe it was because I was hungry, so I ate, but no. It didn't work. I managed to fight off the pain long enough to watch some of the inauguration on tape and watch some of the inauguration Balls, eat corn on the cob, make a mess of my room, and I guess I had fallen asleep because I woke up around 1 AM to find my migraine had gotten worse, I became nauseous, tossed and turned, woke up again at 5 AM, fell back asleep, got up at 7:30 AM feeling a little better, got ready for work, went to work, felt nauseous again, and said my good byes @ 10 AM.

This is why I am home.

Oh, and I guess last night I ordered a new computer. I can kind of remember doing it. I know I was pricing some out, I do recall talking Russ about computer specs too, but I received confirmation that it's ordered and arriving in a couple days.

See what a migraine can do to you? It kills your brain cells and makes you buy stuff.

I'm gonna lay down. TGIF.
