Oh my lord it's snowing out. I'm not talking pansy ass snow, either. It is truly SNOWING out. It's the freakin' Blizzard of 2005.

The pics you see below do not do this storm justice. I would venture out right now 2:22 AM to take more pics but the wind would kick my ass. The snow is comin' down hard, I've seen several people on snowmobiles zip by the house. Hopefully tomorrow things will have calmed down and I'll be able to venture out. I wish I had rice crispy treats right now.

The wine and apps party @ Elzilla's tonight was cancelled due to the blizzard warning so instead of cooking for her party, I trekked my ass over to the laundry mat to do some laundry before the snow hit. I was almost finished folding my laundry when I looked out the window and holy cow, my car was slightly covered up in a white blanket.

I am now cooking the filipino dish I was going to bring to the dinner party, a sour soup made with pork, vegetables i.e., eggplant, green beans, onions, tomatos, and habenero peppers, and of course, rice. I can't wait to eat it, it's the perfect kind of soup for a night like this.
