Weekend Update

I have a head cold y'all.

I mostly stayed in, with the exception of going out to one of my favorite places, the marketplace wherein I almost bought a miniature pussy willow tree. But I didn't. I spent almost twenty minutes talking myself out of buying it. It was so beautiful, I had never seen anything like it before. I know Denita would have appreciated this lovely thing.

There's not much you can do sitting around in pj's with a ski cap on when your ears continually pop, your nose runs, you drink theraflu, fall asleep for three hours, except wish you had someone there to help you not be bored.

Oh, did I mention this girl can eat? I ate a 1/2 of lunchmeat [salami] in one sitting. It's one of my comfort foods. Salami and provolone with lotsa mustard on a bulky roll. I woulda had the provolone if yours truly hadn't forgotten to put it in the fridge, and had it sit overnight in the grocery bag. I almost cried. I even had a debate with myself as to whether or not it'd still be alright to eat. 'Course the stench won.

I'm off to get coffee and a bagel and more salami and provolone.
